About HAO Chinese Tuition Centre
HAO Chinese Tuition Centre provides Chinese tuition and enrichment for children from preschool through secondary school in Singapore. Our six centres are in Balestier, Jurong East, Hong Kah North CC, Bukit Batok, Bedok Reservoir and Kovan.
Our philosophy, Confidence in Chinese Language, connects reading, writing, speaking and listening. We help families find a programme that fits their child’s school level, with clear programme information and opportunities to ask about a free trial.
Preschool: Early Literacy Foundation, N1–K2
Our Early Literacy Foundation programme places reading and writing at the centre of early Chinese learning. Children build vocabulary, recognise Chinese words, develop early writing skills and explore Hanyu Pinyin. Mind-mapping presentations provide opportunities to organise ideas and speak with confidence. HAO students can also enjoy Tang poetry and complimentary family storytelling events.
Preschool lessons last 1.5 hours, with an average of 6–8 students per class and 12 lessons per term.
Primary: an all-in-one Chinese programme
Our Primary All-in-One Chinese Programme brings vocabulary, comprehension, composition, oral communication and listening together. P1–P4 classes offer Higher Chinese only; P5–P6 students can take Standard Chinese or Higher Chinese.
Students receive individual composition and oral feedback within the programme. Complimentary pre-exam tutorials allow students to bring their own school materials for revision support. Lessons last 2 hours, with an average of 6–8 students and 12 lessons per term.
Secondary: G3 Chinese and Higher Chinese
Our Secondary All-in-One Chinese Programme serves Secondary 1–4 students taking G3 Chinese or Higher Chinese. Lessons connect cloze passages, comprehension, composition, oral communication and listening, with individual composition and oral feedback and complimentary pre-exam tutorials using students’ school materials.
Secondary lessons last 2 hours, with an average of 6–8 students and 12 lessons per term. Ask HAO about the programme appropriate for your child’s level and examination cohort.
